Terry's Art

Terry like John has had a lifelong love affair with art. After a brief stint in the Air Force and an 8-year career as a registered nurse decided to take the plunge and devote herself to becoming a full time artist. She attended SORA (The School of Representational Art) a prestigious atelier in Chicago, which specializes in teaching the old master methods of drawing and painting. In Addition to this very formal training Terry has taken many workshops and classes from a very diverse group of artists including some of best living oil painters of our time such Nelson Shanks, David Leffel and Milt Kobayashi. Terry says that she is most inspired as well as challenged by painting people and sometimes peoples best fiends (pets) as no other subject can offer the potential for the kind of emotion she wants to instill in her artwork.
